Subject: Regularization and Promotion of Judges
The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has announced the process for the regularization of four Adhoc District Judges and the promotion of 24 Civil Judges (Senior Division) to Adhoc District Judges based on merit cum seniority. This announcement follows High Court Order No. 638 of 2024/RG dated 03.06.2024.
Viva-Voce Schedule
The viva-voce of the eligible officers, as referenced in High Court Circular No. 1056 dated 15.01.2015, is scheduled to take place from 2nd July 2024 to 11th July 2024, according to Annexure-“A” of the High Court order.
Venue for Interviews
- Kashmir Province: Officers posted in Kashmir Province are required to appear for the interview physically at the Srinagar Wing of the High Court.
- Jammu Province and UT of Ladakh: Officers posted in Jammu Province and the Union Territory of Ladakh are to attend the interview virtually from their respective courts.
