The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Industries and Commerce Department, has issued an important update regarding the placement of Handicrafts Training Officers (HTO) and Quality Control Inspectors (QCI) of J&K Handicrafts (Subordinate) Service as Incharge Assistant Directors.

Appointments:
Pending the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) and/or Public Service Commission (PSC), the following officers are appointed as Incharge Assistant Directors Handicrafts:

- The officiating basis appointments do not confer any preferential rights for regular promotion as Assistant Director.
- These placements are subject to the outcome of any writ petitions pending consideration before competent courts of law.
